Employee at the Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute from 1985 to the present time. Since 1999 - a leading researcher. Since 1990 sent to perform research in Germany without pay at the Ioffe Institute.
D.R. Yakovlev is working more than 35 years on laser spectroscopy of condensed matter systems with a particular focus on semiconductor quantum structures as these systems provide an ideal material platform both for the fundamental physics and applications. During this period a number of pioneering results have been obtained.
