Research Director
Aix Marseille University, CNRS, CRMBM
Areas of scientific interest: advanced quantitative MR methods, data post-processing, musculoskeletal magnetic resonance, ultra-high field MRI, MR spectroscopy.
He is a leader of the “Spectroscopy and Imaging of the Musculoskeletal System” research group. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Bendahan has developed advanced methods for the collection and post-processing of MR data for the diagnosis and monitoring of muscular dystrophies and neuropathies, led the development of post-processing methods for semantic segmentation of images of the musculoskeletal system, for which he received a patent in 2017.
