ЦЕЛЬ ПРОЕКТА
Создание в СПбГПУ современной лаборатории молекулярной, экологической и прикладной микробиологии.
ЗАДАЧИ ПРОЕКТА
— Исследования молекулярных механизмов транскрипции прокариот и способов ее регуляции. В частности, выявление из природных источников новых бактериофагов, заражающих бактерии, их геномная и функциональная характеристика, идентификация, функциональная и структурная характеристика транскрипционных факторов фагов и потенциально полезных фаговых белков.
— Разработка методов анализа на уровне одной клетки для изучения и, в конечном счете, контроля стохастических процессов в бактериальных клетках, с использованием в качестве экспериментальной модели заражения бактериофагом клеток, несущих системы рестрикции-модификации и системы адаптивного иммунитета CRISPR/Cas.
