Нанотехнологии. Полупроводниковые наноструктуры и микрорезонаторы как базовые объекты для новых информационных устройств.

Цель проекта:
Разработка основных положений динамической теории сверхпроводящих фазовых переходов в микрорезонаторах.

Основные задачи проекта:
1. По результатам измерения фотоиндуцированного Рамановского рассеяния и терагерцового поглощения в специально выращенных микрорезонаторах достигнуть разделения сверхпроводящей и нормальной фракций поляритонного газа.
2. В результате использования спектроскопии поляризационного шума при экспериментах Фарадеевского/Керровского вращения определить механизм образования поляритонного Бозе-Эйнштейновского конденсата и возможность перехода Березинского-Костерлица-Таулесса в микрорезонаторах.
3. Осуществить наблюдение порога между диффузным и сверхпроводящим распространением поляритонного псевдоспина.
4. Разработать концепции новых приборов на базе новых физических эффектов светоиндуцированного транспорта спинов.

Области научных интересов:
Научные интересы А.В. Кавокина связаны со спин-оптроникой, транспортировкой спина экситонами, квантовыми вихрями и сверхтекучестью. Помимо этого он исследовал некоторые процессы, протекающие при взаимодействии света и вещества в полупроводниковых гетероструктурах. Ряд работ связан с Бозе-Эйнштейновским конденсатом экситон-поляритонов и квантовой динамикой микрорезонаторов.

Научное признание:
- Предсказал оптический спиновый Холл эффект (PRL, 2007) и оказал содействие в его экспериментальном обнаружении
- (Nature Physics, 2007). Разработал квантовую теорию поляритонных лазеров (PRL, 2003, 2004)
и теорию спиновой динамики экситонных поляритонов (PRL 2004).
- Создал теорию спинорной супертекучести (PRL, 2006) и объяснено явление "пиннинга" поляризации поляритонов (PRB 2006).
- Описал спиновые текстуры холодных экситонов (Nature 2012).
- Разработал концепцию бозонного каскадного лазера (PRL 2013).
- Координатор трех сообществ Евросоюза по физике экситонных поляритонов.
- Опубликовал около 300 работ в международных научных журналах и трудах. - Индекс Хирша 41.
