Цель проекта:
Разработка уникальных функциональных материалов на основе принципов супрамолекулярной химии - само-сборки и самоорганизации.

Основные задачи проекта:
1. Высокоселективные ионные мембраны, получаемые непосредственно в процессе самосборки, в которых ионные каналы формируются супрамолекулярными комплексами
2. Высокоупорядоченные бездефектные пленки органических полупроводников, предназначенных для изготовления так называемых органических полевых транзисторов (OFETs).

В 1998-2005 годах в должности профессора возглавлял экспериментальную лабораторию физики полимеров в Свободном университете Брюсселя.
С марта 2005 года является директором Института химии поверхностей и интерфейсов (ICSI)[2] в Мюлузе (Франция), входящего в систему CNRS (UPR 9069) и аффилированного с Университетом Верхнего Эльзаса.
Имеет статус директора исследований CNRS.
