Цель проекта:
Получение новых результатов в алгебраической геометрии, комплексной геометрии и дифференциальной геометрии

Основные задачи проекта:
1. Доказательство существования рациональных кривых и рациональных точек на поверхностях типа К3;
2. Доказательство глобальной теоремы Торелли и ее применение для изучения геометрии и топологии гиперклеровых многообразий;
3. Изучение мотивных структур, возникающих в некоммутативной геометрии;
4. Исследование частных случаев гомологичной зеркальной симметрии;
5. Исследование мотивного применения циклических космологий в контексте некоммутативной гипотезы Тэйта.

Основные научные достижения:
Богомолов является широко цитируемым математиком, работающим в области алгебраической геометрии; его исследования по многообразиям Калаби-Яу, гиперкэлеровым многообразиям, теории алгебраических поверхностей, стабильным векторным расслоениям, арифметической алгебраической геометрии лежат в основе современной алгебраической геометрии и её пересечений с теоретической физикой (теорией струн). Его имя носят теорема Богомолова о разложении и форма Бовиля — Богомолова.

Ф. А. Богомолову принадлежит целый ряд результатов, определяющих развитие алгебраической геометрии.

Он автор более 100 научных статей по математике.

Научное признание:
- почетный участник нескольких международных конференций, в том числе организованных Институтом коммерческого управления (1978 г.) и Институтом общественных наук Тата (1991, 1992 гг.);
- организатор или член оргкомитета ряда конференций по алгебраической геометрии, включая конференции в Ярославле, (1979, 1983, 1987 гг.), конференции Института теоретической и прикладной математики в США (1998, 2001, 2003 гг.) и ряда других;

It is well known that the Fano scheme of lines on a cubic 4-fold is a symplectic variety. We generalize this fact by constructing a closed p-form with p=2n-4 on the Fano scheme of lines on a (2n-2)-dimensional hypersurface Y of degree n. We provide several definitions of this form - via the Abel-Jacobi map, via Hochschild homology, and via the linkage class, and compute it explicitly for n = 4. In the special case of a Pfaffian hypersurface Y we show that the Fano scheme is birational to a certain moduli space of sheaves on a p-dimensional Calabi--Yau variety X arising naturally in the context of homological projective duality, and that the constructed form is induced by the holomorphic volume...

A CR twistor space of a G2-manifold

Let M be a G2-manifold. We consider an almost CR-structure on the sphere bundle of unit tangent vectors on M, called the CR twistor space. This CR-structure is integrable if and only if M is a holonomy G2 manifold. We interpret G2-instanton bundles as CR-holomorphic bundles on its twistor space.

Asymptotic properties of Dedekind zeta functions in families of number fields

The main goal of this paper is to prove a formula that expresses the limit behaviour of Dedekind zeta functions for $\Re s > 1/2$ in families of number fields, assuming that the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis holds. This result can be viewed as a generalization of the Brauer--Siegel theorem. As an application we obtain a limit formula for Euler--Kronecker constants in families of number fields.

We classify six-dimensional exceptional quotient singularities and show that seven-dimensional exceptional quotient singularities do not exist. We study their representation-theoretic and combinatorial properties and connection to the theory of nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials. As an application we compute the dimension of the classical Weyl modules in the remaining unknown case.
