Research Laboratory of Intellectual Power Supply Systems
This laboratory was established as part of a scientific research project supported with a monetary grant awarded by the Government of the Russian Federation under a grant competition designed to provide governmental support to scientific research projects implemented under the supervision of the world's leading scientists at Russian institutions of higher learning (Resolution of the RF Government No.220 of April 9, 2010).

Key project objectives:
To put together a team of researchers and acquire equipment required for successful implementation of the research project and preparation of a new generation of researchers specializing in energy, energy efficiency, and energy saving. It is anticipated that upon completion of this project the newly established laboratory will continue its operation and reach financial sustainability.
Anticipated scientific outcomes:
The project will help design a model of reorganizing the Russian energy system in compliance with the requirements of a modern highly efficient energy system.
