Attraction of the leading scientists to Russian institutions of higher learning, research organizations of the governmental academies of sciences, and governmental research centers of the Russian Federation

Laboratory for cosmic X-raying

About Laboratory

Grant Agreement No.: 14.W03.31.0021
Project name: Development of advanced X-ray detection systems for solving fundamental and applied problems of space research
Name of the institution of higher learning: Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Fields of scientific research: Space research and technologies

The project goal is a complex study of relativistic compact objects, neutron stars (NSs), for solving fundamental problems of the modern physics and astrophysics as well as of the applied problems of space exploration. New theoretical models, methods and algorithms of data reduction, and advanced systems of X-ray detection will be developed for this purpose.
